Robotic Surgical Proctor and Surgical Assistant
A. Prof. Laurence Harewood: Laurence is one of Australia’s leading robotic surgeons. He has now carried out over 1000 robotic procedures in total. He recently retired from operating and has passed on his practice to Dixon. Though he has retired from operating, he continues to assist Dixon with his robotic cases.
Urology Clinical Nurse
Grace
Grace is a Urology Clinical Nurse Consultant with a strong interest in lower urinary tract issues, genitourinary conditions including bladder and kidney cancers as well as prostate cancer and men’s health.
Grace provides education and support for patients with various urological issues and is always happy to answer your questions and guide you through whatever urological journey you’re on.
Practice Manager
Linda
Linda is the dedicated practice manager of Dixon’s practice, and she plays a central role in ensuring everything runs smoothly for both patients and staff. She manages appointment scheduling with great efficiency, carefully coordinating clinic times to best meet patients’ needs. In addition, Linda oversees all aspects of organising surgical bookings, liaising with hospitals and patients to make the process as seamless and stress-free as possible. Approachable, friendly, and highly professional, she is always available to support patients with their queries and to provide reassurance during what can often be a challenging time. Her warm manner and attention to detail make her an invaluable part of the practice team.
Emergency Physician and Surgical Assistant
Dr. Sheravika Leonny is a senior emergency physician with over 20 years of clinical experience. She has a strong background in telehealth and provides compassionate, holistic care tailored to the individual needs of each patient.
At Melbourne Urology Care, Dr. Leonny works close with A/Prof. Dixon Woon to support patients in the peri-operative setting. Her expertise in acute care and her caring approach complement the practice’s commitment to delivering safe, seamless, and patient-centred care.
Anaesthetists
Dr. Iain Duncan
Iain has anaesthetised for over 1000 robotic procedures. He is a very compassionate doctor and will ensure your peri-operative experience goes as smoothly as possible.
Dr. Elliot Schulberg
Elliot is a locally trained anaesthetist. In 2019, he completed his overseas fellowship in Toronto, Canada.
